The thing is, they also help you balance the pH levels in your skin. More importantly, one of the protective layers of your skin, also known as the acid mantle, might be removed when you use cleansers. Toners help in the restoration of this layer. But, it’s not necessary that you use a Skin toners as well as a cleanser. Use a formulation that offers you the benefits of both. Many people do away with toners if using a good quality cleanser.

Tip 4: Focus on foods that improve skin health

There are some foods, especially fruits and vegetables that help improve the health of your skin. Fruits and vegetables including carrots, sweet potatoes, oranges, mangoes, tangerines, tomatoes, guava, red onions, strawberries, broccoli, cabbage and green bell peppers are great for your skin. So, make sure that such foods are included in your diet.

Tip 5: Exercising

Don’t ignore exercise. Specific exercises help improve the circulation of your body and also help open up the pores of your skin. Regular exercise also helps flush out the toxins from your body. Exercises help improve the general functioning of your body, resulting in an improvement in the health of your skin and also its appearance.
